Mushoku Tenei protagonist Rudeus Greyrat’s voice actress announced that the upcoming episode will be the last time she will be voicing Rudeus. That means we will be getting a new voice actor for Rudy, and we have some guesses about who will voice our pervy MC next.
Mushoku Tensei anime Season 1 will end with this week’s episode, with the premiere of episode 23, or episode 12 of the 2nd cour of the series. The voice actress of Rudues, Yumi Uchiyama posted an update on Twitter that she will be leaving the series after the next episode.
“Thank you to everyone who watched the episode. I have been absent-minded for a while after watching this episode. The next time is finally the last one. I would be grateful if you could keep an eye on me until the end” She wrote
Who will voice Rudy next?
There is a possibility that in the next episode, we will get a 2 year time skip. Rudy will have grown up a lot in two years. There is a chance that Teenage Rudy will be voiced by Hiro Shimono, as he voiced Rudy in the CD release of volume 12 of a light novel series. However, the final decision is in the hands of the Mushoku Tensei production committee. Hiro Shimono is a hugely verstalie voice actor, known for voicing “Zenitsu (Demon Slayer), Dabi (My Hero Academia), Connie (Attack on Titan), and many more.
Rudeus grown up voice narrator will remain the same. Tomokazu Sugita voices Rudy’s grown up voice. He is also known for voicing Gintoki in Gintama anime series.
