Episode 8 was titled “Nightmare and Disquieting Shadow.” The episode starts with Tatsuishi first appearing as the military higher-ups appear in front of the Prince. They lay the condition of the seal breaking of the Grave, and the Prince tells them about the revelation he received.
This alarmed the military, and they are now more alert about the condition. The Prince also warns Kiyoka about her wife, as she will face some atrocities in the future. So, Kiyoka pulls some strings and does a background check on Mio’s mother, which he finds nothing about.
Conversely, Mio is doing her best in her “Lady Training.” This training included teaching her how to walk, how to pick utensils and many other things. Kiyoka makes his checks on Mio and is getting worried by the passing day.
Kiyoka agreed with the person sent from the Imperial Household Agency the next day. So, Kiyoka ventures to the Grave with his team as he encounters spirits. Mio is continuing her training as usual when she has a strange encounter with a man Kiyoka knows about.
