Episode 8 Recap
Episode 8 was titled “Family and Girlfriend.” The episode starts with Yaemori visiting Kazuya, hoping to hear some romantic development between Kazuya and Mizuhara. But Kauya breaks her hopes as things are still where they were before.
Mizuhara comes out of the apartment as they are being pretty loud. Fortunately, Ruka is also passing by, and Kazuya gets pretty scared because he might get a scolding from Ruka, as he is again standing next to Mizuhara. But nothing as such happens.
The next day, Kazuya and Mizuhara go on a rental date, but Mizuhara’s grandmother is also tagging along this time. They go to the theatre where Mizuhara’s film will be aired a few days later. As soon as Kazuya and Mizuhara’s grandmother get some alone time, she thanks Kazuya.
Kazuya complies and lets out some thoughts, showing he doesn’t understand why Mizuhara is dating him. She hushes him off. Then Kazuya leaves both of them and goes to the washroom.
Mizuhara’s grandmother confronts her regarding some issue she thinks is present, but Mizuhara assures her that nothing like that exists. Later, Mizuhara leaves her grandmother alone to talk to Kazuya outside the washroom.
Mizuhara’s grandmother faints in their absence, and everyone calls her guardians. Mizuhara and Kazuya come along to find her on the floor. They transfer her to the hospital and get the news that she has only one day left. So, she can’t see Mizuhara’s film before leaving this world.
