Chapter 230 Recap
Before we jump into spoilers for chapter 230 let’s do a quick recap of what went down in the most recent chapter of the series.
Chapter 230, titled, ‘Get Stuck-Up,’ is basically Takeomi’s entire backstory. From his young friend with Shinichiro Sano to the formation of Brahman with his sister. Chapter 230 covers it all.
The chapter kicks off with Takeomi explaining that he was a very average kid, but Shin on the other hand had a very special charm. One that attracted the people around him. Even drawing in people who he fought, like Benkei and Waka.
He goes on to explain that the Black Dragons gang they created gave Takeomi status in the vigilante world, but when Shin decided to disband the Black Dragons, Takeomi slowly started to lose it.
In the last flashback of the chapter, we jump forward 5 years, past Shin’s death, where we see Takeomi with his younger sister Senju. Who is training to fight in Waka and Benkei’s new gym, where she is actually pretty good. There she tells her older brother she wants to start a gang so she will need trustworthy people to run it. She asks her brother who begins to cry at the thought of being trustworthy, though he does accept. After learning all this backstory we jump back to the present where Takeomi apologizes and says he should have trusted Senju and this whole mess is his fault.
Senju simply tells her brother, it’s both of our faults, and the only thing they can do now to pay for it is to beat down this monster. And on right on queue South rises up from the ground.
Chapter 231 Spoilers
Now that we are all caught up, let’s dive right into chapter 332’s spoilers. Warning, however, some raws for the upcoming chapter are already out so there are confirmed spoilers below, you have been warned.
Chapter 231, titled, Blood-Chilling features two fights that the past couple of chapters has steadily been building up. These two fights are of course Mikey vs Kakucho, and South vs Senju, both of which we saw glimpses of in the last chapter.
What may surprise you, however, is that in the Mikey vs. Kakucho fight, it seems that Mikey is the one getting hit the most. As leaks and raws have shown during the twos fight Mikey is busy thinking about Draken the entire time, whilst Kakucho beats on him. Mikey doesn’t really fight back or block he just allows himself to get hit and is reactionless the whole time. Out of nowhere, Mikey says, Kenchin its already empty and we can visually see Mikey’s dark impulses take over him as an aura appears behind him and his emotionless eyes suddenly become vicious.
Jumping back to South’s fight, we see Takemitchi trying to stop the fight between the two gang leaders. But South simply pushes Takemitchi out of the way but as he touches him Takemitchi experiences something. Since they made contact Takemitchi actually sees South’s near future, and South is dead.
Takemitchi is shocked, for South to have died something or someone dangerous must have killed him. But before he can finish that thought South storms towards Senju but is interrupted by Kakucho. As the fighter’s body flies and lands right in front of South, blocking him. Turning to see who beat Kakucho so badly South sees every member of Brahman, Rokuhara Tandai, and Kanto Manji knocked out unconscious, the one standing over all of them is Mikey.
South locks eyes with Mikey’s as he tries to stare down that crazy look in his eye. Meanwhile, in his head, he comments on how surprised he is that Mikey took out Kakucho so easily. Takemitchi also mentions how he feels chills in his monologue, as he too looks at his old friend. The chapter closes out with Mikey walking up to South and facing him. Promising us an exciting fight for next week’s chapter.
