Tokyo Revengers series has just wrapped up its second season with the final episode’s release, but the excitement isn’t over yet. The highly anticipated Tokyo Revengers season 3 has been officially announced after the season 2 final episode broadcast, and it’s coming your way with the title “Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku Arc.” A teaser video and poster have been released to commemorate this thrilling announcement, so buckle up for another action-packed season.
While season 2 of Tokyo Revengers aired on Disney+ and Hulu for the United States audience, it didn’t receive the same level of success as the first season, partly due to Draken’s voice actor change and a controversial manga ending. However, the franchise aims to bounce back with Tokyo Revengers season 3, which will introduce the fearsome gang leader Izana Kurokawa. In fact, the new season’s poster prominently features Izana, as seen standing on the roof of a skyscraper in the Tweet below.
New Cast Members & Season 3 Expectations
Nobunaga Shimazaki will lend his voice to Izana Kurokawa, the leader of the Yokohama-based team “Tenjiku.” Additionally, Toru Inada takes on the role of Kanji Mochizuki, one of the Four Heavenly Kings of “Tenjiku.” Nobunaga Shimazaki is a renowned voice actor known for his roles as Yuno (Black Clover), Izumi (Parasyte), Mahito (Jujutsu Kaisen), and most recently, Nagi (Blue Lock).
