Update: Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 is excluded from this list, as it debuted in the Summer anime season rather than falling under the Fall season releases.

10. Goblin Slayer Season 2

“Goblin Slayer Season 2” featured the return of the Goblin Slayer crew as they continue their journey to hunt down goblins.

This season introduces a new member who is keen on killing goblins. But Goblin Slayer, as always, warns him to think twice, emphasizing that goblins are not as weak as many believe.

Later on, we see Goblin Slayer himself affected by the new crew member’s story about his sister being killed by goblins.

This could potentially lead to a flashback where we see why Goblin Slayer chose to focus solely on slaying goblins.

9. Ancient Magus Bride Season 2 Part 2

“Ancient Amgus Bride Season 2 Part 2” follows the story from the previous part, as the College Chise had enrolled is being closed temporarily because of the supernatural activities happening.

These events involve students disappearing and sometimes fainting from loss of magical energy. Chise blames herself for this, believing something evil is after her in the college.

The series so far has also highlighted Philomela, a classmate of Chise, who is having a hard time accepting her current situation.

Students are now being trained to defend against any malevolent spirits or people who might enter the college. Chise is up for the challenge, as she wants to learn more about her own powers.

8. Tokyo Revengers Season 3

“Tokyo Revengers Season 3” starts with the entry of “Tenjiku,” a new gang aiming to take over Tokyo and eliminate Mikey’s Tokyo Manji Gang. Tenjiku makes a flashy appearance in Tokyo, beating up every Toman member to make their presence known.

Takemitchy sees Kisaki, who is now the General Staff Manager of Tenjiku, planning something new. Mikey and Draken hold a gang meeting and decide to raid Yokohama, where Tenjiku’s base is located.

Takemitchy then goes to the future to get more information about Tenjiku and its leader, Izana. He meets Shiba by chance, who tells him and Naoto all he knows about Tenjiku and how Izana used to lead the Black Dragons.

They are then raided by Izana’s men, who are there to kidnap Taiju. Takemitchy and Naoto run, but Kisaki shoots Naoto. Izana and Kaku are also there, and Takemitchy makes a close-call time-leap with Naoto as Kaku shoots him too.

The road ahead looks tougher than ever, leaving us to wonder if Takemitchy will break or manage to save everyone.

The series focuses on Sunraku, our protagonist, who likes to play easy games and beat them with pleasure. But everything changes when he gets introduced to the new “Shangri-La Frontier.”

As soon as he starts the game, he faces monsters that have secrets only revealed during battle. This is what makes Sunraku spend his time on this game.

However, he gets defeated twice by some unique monsters, which catches the attention of some big names in the game. So, Sunraku’s journey in “Shangri-La Frontier” won’t be boring!

6. Undead Unluck

The “Undead Unluck” series centers on Fuuko and Andy, both of whom have unique negation abilities that make it difficult for them to die.

Fuuko is “unluck,” meaning bad luck befalls anyone who touches her, while Andy is “undead,” making him unable to die.

So far, the series has Fuuko and Andy evading a mysterious organization that wants to capture them. Andy has vowed not to let Fuuko die until her unluck ability kills him.

To prepare for what’s ahead, he takes her to his secret weapon stash, where she can arm herself.

“The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You” was one of the most awaited rom-com anime series of Fall 2023, and it’s living up to fans’ expectations.

The series leans heavily into the comedy genre, making it all the more enjoyable to watch. It follows Aijou and his first two girlfriends, Karane and Hakari.

Aijou is ecstatic because, after being rejected by a hundred girls in the past, he now has two beautiful girlfriends who are willing to do anything for him.

The trio also experienced their “first kiss” in an unusual manner, adding an extra layer of intrigue to Aijou’s love life.

4. Dr. Stone New World (Season 3) Part 2

“Dr. Stone Season 2 Part 2” will focus on the Science Team researching even deeper into the petrification incident that resulted in the world going back into the Stone Age.

The series so far dwelled on Senku and his team retrieving some members who were petrified by a mysterious beam on their ship Perseus.

Unfortunately, Ibara, the leader of Treasure Island, brings forth the petrified body of Ryuusei as he gets suspicious that there is an imposter amongst them.

He orders all girls to hit this body as the person with Ryuusei will never hit it. Kohaku is pretty adamant before hitting Ryuusei’s petrified body, but as soon as she gets Senku’s message, she breaks his body into little pieces.

These pieces are then transported to Senku through the robotic mice they built, and Ryuusei is revived. They later revive Kaseki and Taiju, as the Science Team now has ample members to carry out their mission

3. Spy x Family Season 2

“Spy x Family Season 2” featured the return of Anya, the poster girl of anime, as we will be witnessing the Forger family’s everyday life adventures!

The series started with a date episode as Yor and Loid went on a date without Anya. But things are complicated because Yor got shot last night when she was assassinating someone.

So, her mood stays frustrated until she drinks poison, which cancels her pain from the gunshot. We also see Anya take down the person who wanted to take down Yor.

Bond’s struggle is also shown as Yor wants to feed him her cooking, so he decides to take matters into his own hands and helps Loid in his spy activities so he can return home early and make him a good meal.

Damian is still obsessed with bagging as many Stella Stars as possible, so he studies while compromising his health. But he gets a much-needed pause and calms down. Tag along as the adventures of the Forger Family never know an end!

2. The Eminence in Shadow Season 2

Claire has also accompanied him to this city, so she is looking for Cid as he never stays in one place. They enter the Blood Queen’s castle, where many strong opponents have arrived for the same purpose.

Cid has still managed to keep his identity as Shadow a secret from everyone else, which is becoming hilarious now. He managed to behead Crimson, who was reviving the Blood Queen, which might have already killed this series’ plotline, so tune in to find out!

1. Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End

“Frireren: Beyond Journey’s End” was the most anticipated new anime series of the Fall Season, and it managed to live up to its hype, as it soared at the top in ratings!

The series debuted with a four-episode release, which was a treat for anime fans. It focuses on Frieren’s journey as she relives the memories she made at the Hero’s party.

After the return from their triumph over the demon lord, Frieren separates her pathway from the party members, as she wants to keep her research ongoing.

As soon as her party members pass away, she realizes she never got to know any of them. So, she starts her journey towards Aureole, where human souls reside after they die, to meet Himmel, the Hero.

She is accompanied by Fern and Stark, pupils of her two party members. Fortunately, the pathway she will be taking to reach Aureole is the one she took when she traveled with her party to fight the demon lord.
