Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 has been the star of Summer Season 2023, with exquisite animation and a good storyline, despite containing filler scenes. But all of this aside, one new addition to the Jujutsu Kaisen lineup, Toji Fushigoro, has been getting lots of attention.
As the name indicates, Toji Fushigoro is related to Megumi Fushigoro, as Toji is the biological father of the young prodigy. Also known as the “Sorcerer Killer,” Toji belonged to the Zenin clan before he married Fushigoro’s mother.
In the anime, he has been chasing Gojo Satoru to kill him as Gojo is trying to protect Riko Amanai, the Star Prisma Vessel. He works with TIme Vessel Association instead of his clan, Zenin Clan.

The appearance of Toji Fushigoro
Toji Fushigoro wears two kinds of clothes. One is his casual attire: a long-sleeved shirt with matching pants and sandals. The other is his fighting attire which brings out his character appeal!
It consists of a half-sleeved shirt with baggy sports pants fitted to him with a black belt. His cursed spirit is attached to this upper torso which is seen with him whenever he fights. Toji has green eyes, just like his son, Megumi Fushigoro.

The personality of Toji Fushigoro
Toji Fuhsigoro’s personality is that of a very bold person who believes in his instincts and loves to take risks wherever needed. He loves to stay engaged in conversations with people, just like how we saw in the anime series, mainly seen chatting with his partner every chance he gets.
As a man known as the “Sorcerer Killer,” Toji has his fair share of knowledge of the Jujutsu world. He holds an intense grudge against the sorcerers, indicating how he is on the loose to kill Gojo Satoru.
Why Is Toji so Hyped?
A few episodes into the anime, Toji has received a spotlight that not most characters receive so early in a series. The main reason is that Toji will be a big problem for the Jujutsu gang in the future in many ways.
Toji Fushigoro’s Abilities
Toji Fushigoro is a non-curse user, meaning he cannot use cursed attacks like everyone in Jujutsu Kaisen. He relies on physical attributes like speed, agility, and hand-to-hand combat. He will be an essential part of the Shibuya Arc of Jujutsu Kaisen.
Besides his immense physical prowess, Toji also has an arsenal of cursed weapons, which are stored in the cursed spirit hanging to Toji’s torso. Weapons like the Playful Cloud, which was seen used in Season One, and many other cursed weapons give a maximum output when in the hands of Toji.

During the Hidden Inventory Arc, which is ongoing in the anime, Toji will have an immense battle against Gojo and Geto. Despite Toji having no curse energy, he was able to fight toe to toe with the best of what the Jujutsu Kaisen world has to offer.
In the near future, Toji will disappear for a little while but worry not, the charismatic and handsome character will make a return in the story in a big way.
What Happened to Toji In Manga?
Toji was able to injure Gojo and Geto brutally. However, the duo was barely able to overcome Toji and send him to the afterlife or so they thought.
Gojo Satoru gets sealed during the Shibuya Arc because of Pseudo-Getou’s (Kenjaku) bright plan. Toji is revived in this arc with the help of a seance technique, which maximizes his primal instincts, and now, the new Toji only knows how to fight.
But after going through his character, we can see that the hype around him is well deserved, and we should all anticipate his appearance in the future, as it’s been a while since Gojo was seen beaten up by someone, moreover by someone with no cursed energy.
