Read on to find spoilers, release time, and more for Solo Leveling chapter 174
Chapter 173 Recap
The most recent chapter of Solo Leveling gave us a very tempting and brief tease of the fight that will go down this upcoming chapter. The previous chapter also showed us what was going on with our other favorite characters. So before we jump into the spoilers and predictions for chapter 174 let’s first do a recap of 173.
In chapter 173 we finally got to see the start of probably the best fight so far in Solo Leveling. Of course, the fight I’m mentioning is the Antares vs Sung Jin-Woo fight that we saw in 173. The chapter kicked off with Antares shooting fire at our hero, Jin-Woo evades it just in the nick of time. The dragon monarch continues to fight Jin-Woo and his many dragon shadow soldiers as he wonders if the monarch of monstrous humans betrayed him.
The two monsters continue to fight as everything around them blows up. Antares then mentions that Jin-Woo is weak and the fact that he is using his lesser shadow soldiers against him is pathetic. As he says this Sung Jin-Woo starts to dash for a portal. The monarch gives chase and follows him out to the other side. On the other side he finds all of the shadow monarchs soldiers, as well as the monarch of monstous humans defeated, his troops have already joined Jin-Woo’s army.
Antares also brings his army though massive portals he had set up a cople chapters ago. Out comes hundred of dragons. Sung Jin-Woo simply smirks and recalls all his soldiers at this sight. He then pulls out Kamish’s runestone and uses Kamish’s dragon fear. A roar so powerfull it freezes all other dragons in intimidation.
Using this moment Sung Jin-Woo grabs Antares and teleports him to the castle he had the shadows built. A place far away from the dragon monarchs remaining troops. Sung Jin-Woo declares the castle a fitting place to commerate Antare’s death. As the two get ready to fight, with Antares transforming into his dragonic form and Sung Jin-Woo pulling out his daggers, the chapter ends.
Chapter 174 Spoilers
Spoilers for the upcoming chapter are currently not out. This means that the raws are also not yet out. However, the raws are expected to release around an hour or two before the official release of the English translations.
However if we were to guess what were to go down next chapter. I would say that we are probably going to see the fight against Antares and Sung Jin-Woo, though I don’t think this chapter would conclude the fight. We might also see whats been going on with some other hunters and how they are holding up. Lastly we might see Sung Jin-Woo’s family and some other civillians, as we have yet to see what has happened to them.
As for the release date of this upcoming chapter. Chapter 174 is expected to release on Wednesday, November 17th. At the time of writing this article, D&C Webtoon hasn’t announced any delays to this chapter, so we can assume it will release without issue.
