After last week’s beautiful chapter that featured the two monarchs’ epic final clash, Solo Levelling is delivering again with this week’s incoming 177th chapter. With the Antares and Sung Jin-Woo fight over hopefully, we will be able to see some civilian reactions and maybe a peek at what’s next in our heroes plan…

Chapter 176 Recap
Before we jump into chapter 177’s spoilers, let’s do a quick recap of what went down in chapter 176. If you have read the chapter already you already know that there isn’t a lot to explain this chapter, seeing as how it’s mostly just a beautiful fight between the two monarchs. And for those who haven’t read chapter 176 yet, go read it, it’s definitely worth your time.
After multiple pages dedicated to the two monarchs final clash, we see them rush forward at each other and cross swords once more. Antares continues on about how Jin-Woo is weak and doesn’t deserve this power, also telling him that he won’t be able to protect any of his loved ones when the time comes. While this is happening SJW sets up a dagger hovering just above the monarch of destruction ready to strike down.
Once our hero pulls away he strikes with his sneak attack, but it isn’t effective at all since Antares saw it coming already. The king of dragons begins bragging that this is now Jin-Woo’s loss and he can’t stall out any longer. Rushing forward one final time Sung Jin-Woo tells the villain this, “the sun darkens the shadows.” And with that we get a beautiful panel of Sung Jin-Woo alongside all of his shadows, delivering the final blow.
The chapter ends as Jin-Woo cuts down the all-powerful monarch, slicing his whole body in half with one strike.
Chapter 177 Spoilers
Spoilers for the upcoming chapter are currently not out. However, the raws are expected to release around an hour or two before the official release of the English translations.

Regarding the release date of this chapter. Chapter 177 is expected to release, Monday, December 15th. At the time of writing this article, D&C Webtoon hasn’t announced any delays to this chapter, so we can assume it will release without issue.
