Fans of Hunter x Hunter manga are anxiously waiting for the series to make a comeback. While Togashi is continuously giving us updates on his manga drawing, the official manga magazine where Hunter x Hunter manga gets published, Weekly Shonen Jump has remained silent until now.
The official Twitter account of Shonen Jump has announced that a new manga volume 37 of Hunter x Hunter will be released on November 4 with the price of 528 yen ($3.69 US). This will be the first Hunter x Hunter manga volume release in 4 years. The previous manga volume was released on Oct 4, 2018. HxH manga volume 37 cover has been revealed.
Volume 37 will cover chapters 381-390 which are already released in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. Fans still have to wait for any official news on new Hxh manga chapter release. Still, this is a good news for Hxh manga readers as the publishers are finally thinking of Hunter x Hunter manga, and if we are lucky, Gon and his friends will shortly make a come back in WSJ magazine.
Despite coming back from a long hiatus, Togashi has been suffering from the back pain continuously. Togashi gave an update on his Twitter that he still can’t draw while sitting, so he has to lay down on his back to draw the manga. Recently, Togashi has planned to hire new assistants who will help him draw, and lessen his burden.
Hunter x Hunter manga series is written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi, who has been publishing the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump since 1998, with frequent breaks in between because of bad health. Nippon animation picked up the manga for a 62 episode anime which aired from 1999 to 2001.
A 2nd anime adaptation was produced by Madhouse, who animated 148 episodes which aired from October 2011 to September 2014.
