Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 has once again delivered a fantastic episode, leaving every fan satisfied. However, this episode introduced a cursed spirit previously unknown to the audience.
This cursed spirit has been a part of Kenjaku’s crew since the beginning of the second season and was seen in action for the first time.

Who is Dagon?
“Dagon” is a small, octopus-shaped cursed womb, with red skin. Despite his size, especially in comparison to the other spirits he associates with, he doesn’t give off an intimidating vibe.
He was born from a fear of water-based disasters, such as tsunamis, and he covers most of his body with a cloth.
However, despite his appearance, this small spirit is actually a special-grade cursed spirit, a fact that becomes apparent when he takes on his awakened form. Dagon undergoes this transformation due to mental trauma, triggered by the realization that Hanami, another cursed spirit, has died.
In his awakened form, Dagon takes on a humanoid shape, though he retains his octopus head. He has wings that allow him to levitate, and his entire body is covered in red scales.
Like all special-grade cursed spirits, Dagon possesses high intelligence and is capable of human speech.

How Powerful Is Dagon?
In Jujutsu Kaisen season 2, episode 14, Dagon not only showcases his immense strength but also unveils his domain expansion.
His Domain Expansion is named “Horizon of the Captivating Skandha,” and interestingly, it doesn’t require any hand signs, which are typically necessary for domain expansions.
Dagon’s domain is activated when a cursed seal appears on his belly, a sight never seen before. This transforms the surroundings into a tropical beach, with an ocean on one side. Like all Domain Expansions, Dagon’s domain guarantees a hit on his opponent.
Inside his domain, he summons hundreds of shinigami, taking the form of piranhas and sharks, to attack his opponent.
This onslaught is named “Death Swarm,” and it is a sure-hit technique within Dagon’s Domain, unless countered by anti-domain techniques like Simple Domain (used by Miwa/Mechamaru) or Falling Blossom Emotion (used by Naobito).

Dagon Appeared In Season 1?
Some viewers might find Dagon’s domain familiar, as it resembles the beach where Mahito and Kenjaku (Geto) used to spend time in the first season.
That beach was also Dango’s domain, but it was his cursed womb’s domain. Due to this, that domain was calm, as Kenjaku complimented it once.
The tranquility of the domain provided a space for the special-grade curses to relax.

How will Dagon meet his End?
The climax of episode 14 teases the entrance of Toji Fushigoro into Dagon’s Domain. Now resurrected and devoid of human emotions, Toji’s instincts will drive him to attack the strongest individual nearby.
As the strongest entity within the domain, Dagon becomes Toji’s target, leading to an inevitable confrontation and, ultimately, Dagon’s demise.
