Oshi no Ko anime series will be returning today with episode 8 after taking a week’s break, which felt like an eternity. The preview video of episode 8 has been released. Here is everything you need to know about it.
Previously Aqua successfully managed to save Akane from jumping to her death. In the final moments of the previous episode, we saw Akane trying to impersonate AI. She learned everything about the former idol and could replicate AI’s persona perfectly.
In the last scene, we see Aqua being impressed with how much Akane’s persona is similar to AI. The official synopsis of episode 8 reveals that the episode will revolve around Akane’s new personality.

Oshi no Ko episode 8 is titled “First Time.” The official synopsis of the episode is as follows: “Akane perfectly understands Ai and traces her actions. She even found out that Ai had an illegitimate child. Aqua, who has a strong interest in actress Akane…!?”

Oshi no Ko anime is based on the manga of the same name, written by Aka Akasaka. The manga series was popular enough to gather a significant following even before the anime.
Thanks to the amazing animation direction of Studio Doga Koba, the series’ popularity skyrocketed, even placing the anime at the top of MyAnimeList’s highest-rated anime for some time.
Partial credit for the series’ popularity also goes to YOASOBI, who performed the theme song for Oshi no Ko, which already has broken many international records.
Even though the series has received a massive positive reception from the masses, there was an incident regarding Akane’s story being too similar to a real-life actress whose life ended because of online harassment.
